Site analytics

The site uses first-party traffic and conversion analytics to understand which pages and tools are useful. The browser may send the current page path, external referrer host, UTM campaign parameters, a randomly generated visitor identifier and a randomly generated session identifier to the site analytics endpoint.

The visitor identifier is stored in browser local storage under kos_visitor_id; the session identifier is stored in session storage under kos_session_id. They are used to connect site activity into visits and funnels, not to request your legal name or payment credentials. Clearing site storage in your browser removes the identifiers stored on that device.

Direct orders and email

If you choose to request a purchase, the order page can include the product, SKU, price, payment-method choice and the delivery email you enter in an email message to the seller. Email providers then process that message under their own terms and privacy practices.

Payments

PayPal and PrivatBank are external payment services. Payment details and transaction records are processed by those services. Knit of Shadows verifies payment through the relevant payment account and does not ask customers to send passwords, full card credentials, PINs, CVV codes or one-time verification codes.

The site links to third-party marketplaces, services and resources. Visiting those destinations is subject to their own privacy practices.

Sensitive information

Please do not send sensitive credentials, medical records, government identifiers or other unnecessary sensitive information in an order or support email.
