Tired of getting left behind in AION 2 dungeons?

Dungeon runs should not turn into a race where a slower player misses the final boss. Here's a practical way to find players who agree on the pace before entering, plus a reusable LFG message.

Why players are asking for calmer runs

In October, a popular community thread described a Draupnir run where some players rushed to the last boss and others lost their chance to participate. That is one player's reported experience, not proof that every run behaves this way. The practical fix under players' control is making the team's expectations explicit before the run.

Five steps before you queue

01

Say the pace in your party title

Use “no rush / wait for everyone” for steady clears, or “learning / beginner friendly” if you expect pauses to explain mechanics. Don't assume a generic “chill” label means everyone will wait.

02

Match server, faction and language

List your Global region, actual game server, faction and voice/text language. Make sure the game lets your players form the intended group before promising invites.

03

Agree on the boss-entry rule

Ask the leader and the party to wait for everyone at each final boss entrance. A friendly statement before departure helps avoid fights later; it is a social agreement, not a guarantee enforced by the game.

04

Choose honest expectations

Say whether it is your first clear or you know the fight, and whether you have time for learning attempts. Never advertise a guaranteed clear, loot drop or reward.

05

Be ready to form your own party

If open matchmaking keeps creating mismatched groups, create a small recruitment notice with a clear pace instead. Our moderated board may not yet have approved listings; it isn't connected to the in-game party finder.

Hard mode is different: official rules still matter

The 21 October Global patch added Hard mode to Krao Cave and Draupnir. The published entrance requirement is item level 2,600, with a four-minute boss Frenzy timer and three revives per player. A patient party can slow down during preparation, but cannot remove the encounter's timed requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Is “No Rush” an official AION 2 matchmaking mode?

No. It's an organizer-selected pace on this independent community board. It does not change the game's matchmaking systems.

Can your group finder guarantee a party or loot?

No. The board shows only manually approved notices. It can be empty, and participation and rewards depend on other players and the game.

How do I avoid a boss starting without me?

Ask the team to wait for everyone before pulling and verify the expectation when joining. This is advice for communication, not an official mechanic or guarantee.

Can a learning group still try Hard mode?

Yes if the game requirements are met, but learn the four-minute Frenzy and three-revive limits before planning a Hard mode attempt.
