01
Only blurry when turning the camera
Open the game's Graphics settings and look for Motion Blur. If your build exposes it, turn it Off, apply changes, and test the same camera movement. This helps with trailing/smearing but does not cure low resolution.
02
Background blurry while the character is sharp
Look for Depth of Field (DOF) in Graphics or the advanced post-processing controls. If present, turn it Off. Some menus or presets may not expose separate DOF controls; never invent a missing button.
03
Everything looks soft even when standing still
Match the game's display resolution to your monitor's native resolution. Inspect Resolution Scale and upscaling together: test 100% base scale with DLSS / FSR / TSR at Quality first. Stacking a low resolution scale with aggressive upscaling can make the scene noticeably softer.
04
Faces, armor and objects look smudged close-up
Raise Texture Quality only if your GPU has adequate VRAM, then compare the same object after textures finish loading. A low texture preset or streaming issue is different from motion blur. Avoid prescribing maximum textures to weaker GPUs.
05
Hazy cities, dark scenes and crowded combat
Try lowering Volumetric Fog and some Post-Processing or Effect Quality options if your client offers them. Check that boss telegraphs stay visible. Fog and bloom affect scene clarity, but reducing them does not increase the real rendering resolution.
