October 21 Global Patch: Hard Dungeons & Ariel

New Hard Expedition modes, Ariel Daevanion and key questions.

NC's October 20 PDT / October 21 CEST Global patch introduces Hard mode for Krao Cave and Draupnir and a new Ariel Daevanion board. Below are the high-impact points, separated from speculative tips and regional changes.

Step-by-step player guide

New Hard modes

Krao Cave and Draupnir gain a Hard difficulty requiring item level 2600. The boss Frenzy timer is four minutes and each player has three revives.

New rewards

Official notes list Philosopher's Stone: Revelation (Bound), Ariel Fragments (Bound), potential Expedition Hero Artwork, more Kina than Normal and Unique crafting materials.

Ariel conversion

100 Ariel Fragments may be morphed into a Daevanion Crystal: Ariel (Bound), with up to 30 conversions per character and dungeon-specific constraints described in the notice.

Alternative conversion

One Ariel Fragment can be converted into five Enhance Stones with no stated limit, through Substance Morph > Special > Consumables.

Where to find the board

A new Ariel Daevanion board is added. Compare its nodes inside the Global client before claiming an ideal path.

Class fixes

The update addresses Chanter Spinning Strike effects and Sorcerer Cold Storm / Fire Wall interactions. Re-test a skill before trusting older PvP advice.

Abyss changes

The update raises concurrent entry capacity and changes the durability or hitboxes of certain Abyss bosses; check the detailed notice.

What to do now

If you meet 2600 item level, read Hard-mode mechanics and assemble an organized group. Otherwise use the requirement as a progression target without wasting scarce materials.
