Step-by-step player guide
Before installing
Confirm Windows 10/11 64-bit, GPU feature support, sufficient storage and the correct game region. The official Steam page lists 100 GB of free space.
Choose people first
Ask your friends for their region, server and Elyos/Asmodian faction. Do not assume characters or progression can freely move between all combinations.
Choose a role, not a tier
Pick a role you will willingly perform over many sessions: frontline, precision melee, ranged damage, magic control or support.
Finish foundations
Progress through the introductory story and movement practice. Rebind high-priority defensive controls before first serious PvP.
Compare progression paths
Read the in-game unlock text for each mode, then invest only enough materials to unlock your next useful activity.
Return to live sources
Before following any detailed build, verify it names your current Global patch and matches the skill tooltips on your screen.
