What should a co-op progression pact cover?
Use it for decisions that permanently change the shared world or skip content someone wanted to experience together. Typical examples are major bosses, entering a new biome or region for the first time, unlocking a new technology tier, changing world difficulty or mods, moving the shared base, and spending rare group-owned resources.
Keep the rule simple
Wait for everyone is best for milestone moments the group wants to experience together. Ask first works for progress that is useful but not worth blocking a whole week. Proceed anytime is for routine farming, building and personal exploration that does not remove anyone else’s experience.
Why this helps
The goal is not to make a co-op world bureaucratic. It is to prevent the common situation where one active player unintentionally turns the rest of the group into spectators by completing shared progression while they are offline. Copy the generated pact into Discord, Telegram or your group chat and revise it whenever the group’s schedule changes.
